Vocaloid 3 Launch Event Streamed Live Tonight

The video-streaming service Nico Nico will begin streaming the "Vocafarre!!" Vocaloid 3 launch event live at 11:00 p.m. PST tonight. The event will take place in Tokyo's trendy Roppongi district at the Nicofarre hall (pictured left) owned by Nico Nico Douga's parent company Dwango.
"Vocafarre!! -Act.0- [Part1] Press Event," the event's first part, is intended mainly for members of the press. New characters such as Tone Rion, Aoki Lapis, SeeU, CUL, IA, Yuzuki Yukari, and Ring Suzune will be introduced. The press event will also discuss sales plans, a Vocaloid 3 music contest, and additional information on new characters.
The second part of the event, titled "Vocafarre!! -Act.0- [Part2] AR Live Concert," will open at 2:00 a.m. PST on Friday and include "live" performances from Vocaloid 3 characters. The collaborative event utilizes the latest augmented reality (AR) and voice synthesis technology that was introduced at the "53 hours Vocaloid Live" event earlier this year.
The event's choreographer Sam from the TRF band, MiKA from the Daisy x Daisy pop group, and Kim Dahi will appear as special guests at Vocafarre!!. The Nico Nico operator Niwango, Dwango, and the Yamaha Corporation are hosting the event in cooperation with LAWSON and Daiichikosho. Imagica and Premium Agency are providing technical support.
