Fans of farm simulation games get to see the real thing in trip to working farm

As a tie-in with Bokujō Monogatari: Hajimari no Daichi (the next farm simulation game in Marvelous AQL's Harvest Moon series), the Japanese travel agency H.I.S. is offering bus tours to meet real alpacas. The bus tours will run from March 4 through March 31.

The day trips will depart from Tokyo's Shinjuku ward and will head to the Nasu Alpaca Ranch. Just like in the game, tourists will be able to feed the alpacas and plant clover seeds. In commemoration of the game franchise's 15th anniversary, tour participants will also receive an limited tea-colored variant of an alpaca mobile phone strap as a gift.

The Bokujō Monogatari: Hajimari no Daichi game itself will ship for the Nintendo 3DS system on February 23, and it will include a bonus white alpaca phone strap. Hajimari no Daichi will feature more levels of customization in comparison to its predecessors. A North American release has not been announced.
