Metal Gear Online to End Service on June 12

Konami to give away expansion packs, equipment in 4-year-old service before closure
The game publisher Konami announced on Tuesday that it will discontinue service on the Metal Gear Online game on its fourth anniversary (June 12, 2012) at 11:59 p.m. Japan Time. The online shop will end sales on March 21. All expansion packs and reward shop equipment, with certain exceptions, will then made available to all players for free on April 24.
The online game service debuted when it came with the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots game in June of 2008.
