Adventure game that inspired anime & fan disc to be reissued on May 24

Enterbrain's Famitsu website began streaming the opening video for the PlayStation 3 port of the Steins;Gate adventure game on Friday. The 139-second video features the theme song "Hisenkei Jeniakku" performed by Kanako Itou, who also sang three themes for the Steins;Gate television anime.

The PlayStation 3 port of the original Xbox 360 game and its Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling fan disc will ship in Japan on May 24. The Steins;Gate port will cost 7,140 yen (about US$93), while the fan disc port will cost 6,090 yen (US$79). In addition, a "Steins;Gate Double Pack," a set that will combine the two, will go on sale on the same day for 14,000 yen (US$170).

Both the original game and the fan disc first shipped for the Xbox 360, although there are now also PC, PSP, and iOS versions. (The fan disc is only available for the Xbox 360, although the PSP version will ship on April 26.) The game's anime adaptation aired in Japan last year, and a new film project will follow.

The website Gamer.ne.jp began streaming the opening video for Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling earlier this month.
