Smartphone port pits player & 4 allies against 95 NPC enemies
Game publisher Konami released the 100-nin Taisen Bomberman (100-Man War Bomberman) game for iOS and Android devices for free in Japan on Tuesday. Unlike the previous smartphone ports of Hudson's classic Bomberman game, this new version has a "100-Man War" mode which lets a player and four non-player character (NPC) allies battle 95 NPC enemies — all in one chaotic screen:
Previous smartphone ports of Bomberman were released under Hudson's name, but Konami completed its absorption of Hudson on March 1.
