Mirai Nikki/Future Diary's 'Next Project' Launches

The final episode of the Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) television anime series ended on Sunday with an announcement that the "next project" was launching. The announcement did not specify what form or medium that the next project will take.
Fuji TV will premiere Mirai Nikki - Another:World -, a live-action television series adaptation of Sakae Esuno's original manga, this Saturday. The live-action version's scriptwriter Yūsuke Watanabe (20th Century Boys trilogy, Gantz, Bloody Monday) is deliberately reconstructing the story from the original manga; the names of the main protagonists have been changed to reflect the differences.
