Interest Lain Designer ABe Reveals Comiket 82 in 360-Degree Panoramas

Wraparound photos show bustle of Tokyo Big Sight's East Halls
Manga author and illustrator Yoshitoshi ABe photographed Comic Market 82 (Comiket) in panorama this past weekend. He composited his photographs to create interactive 360-degree panorama views of the event. The pictures were taken of Tokyo Big Sight's East Halls 1-3 — just some of the halls Comiket uses — during setup and a relatively quiet hour of the event. (210,000 attended this summer's third day.)
ABe came to the event as part of the Mutekei Fire/Romance dōjinshi circle. ABe is known for his distinctive character designs in works such as Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze and Haibane Renmei.
