Free-to-play Guilty Dragon iOS/Android game also has European release planned

Japanese game production company CyberConnect2 is developing the ".hack Concept" mobile role-playing game Guilty Dragon for Android and iOS devices, and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama revealed overseas plans for the game at Tokyo Game Show this month.

Matsuyama told the Siliconera website, "We are producing a game called Guilty Dragon for smartphones and it will be released soon in Japan. We have about 200 people on our staff so we are able to work on a lot of titles." Matsuyama went on to reveal that after the game's Japanese release, European and American releases are also planned.

The role-playing game allows players to create a character and pick from three starting countries while playing from their smartphones. Bandai Namco Games began streaming a preview for the game earlier this month.

The initial app will be free, although there will be fees for in-app items. The game was originally slated for Japan this summer.
