"Dere-ban" focuses on Inaba, Taichi's ending scenario; 2 special scenarios offered in PS Store

Namco Bandai Games began streaming the seventh and final countdown video for the Kokoro Connect Yochi Random PSP video game on Wednesday, as well as two introductory videos for additional special scenarios on Thursday.

The "Episode: Dere-ban" countdown video focuses on one of the ending scenarios between a "lovey-dovey" (deredere) Himeko Inaba (Inaban) and Taichi Yaegashi. The first countdown video was posted at the end of last month, the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth videos debuted earlier this month.

In the special scenario "Aratana Nakama Hen," the Student Cultural Society plans a surprise welcome party for two new members (voiced by Nao Tōyama and Toshiyuki Toyonaga).

In the special scenario "Umi e Ikō! Hen," the Student Cultural Society members talk about going camping together at the beach. Each of the special scenarios is available from the PlayStation Store for 400 yen (about US$5).

Sadanatsu Anda, the author of the original Kokoro Connect light novels, collaborated on the story scenarios for the game. Kokoro Connect Yochi Random will feature the "Pentagonal View Scenario" to allow players to enjoy the game from each of the five Student Cultural Society members' different perspectives, as well as the "D.D.T" (Dynamic Drama Transition) for limited character movements.

The game arrives in Japan on Thursday after a delay. The "Pentagon Box" edition includes a "visual memory book," an original drama CD, the game's soundtrack, book covers, and an art box. The "Pentagon Box" edition will cost 8,980 yen (about US$113), while the regular edition will be available for 6,280 yen (US$79).

The novel series' television anime adaptation premiered in Japan this past summer. Crunchyroll streamed the "love and teen pentagonal comedy" series into several countries as it aired in Japan, and Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime for release in North America.
