"Mirai no Museum" to be used as Doraemon movie's theme song

The official music video for Japanese techno-pop trio musical unit Perfume's "Mirai no Museum" song was revealed on Monday. The video is Perfume's first collaboration with animation. The members commented on the collaboration, saying, “We were able to show another side of Perfume!!”

The setting for the story of the video takes place in the future world of 20XX. The three human-styled robots Kashiyuka, A~chan, and Nocchi travel through a time machine to arrive in the past, the year 19XX. There, they meet a cowardly boy named “Boy P-ta,” and go on an adventure with him. When P-ta finds what is most important to him, the P-ta in the future lives out his destiny.

An official commercial gives a short preview of the music video:

"Mirai no Museum," which will be released on February 27 is the main theme song for the upcoming Doraemon movie, Doraemon: Nobita no Himitsu Dōgu Museum, which will open in Japan on March 9.
