Polar Bear's Café Tea, Coffee Sets Offered in Japan

The online store for the Japanese convince store chain Family Mart began taking pre-orders on Wednesday for Polar Bear's Café-themed drip coffee packets and tea sets.
The coffee packets come in three different original blends from Mikado Coffee — strong, medium, and mild — each with an image of one of the main characters from Polar Bear's Café: Polar Bear, Panda, and Penguin. The coffee also comes with three coasters featuring the same character images as the packages. The set comes with 15 coffee packets. Pre-orders for the coffee run until April 8, with delivery expected between April 13-17.
The tea set includes a ceramic teapot featuring the show's logo in English and Japanese, and a ceramic tea cup that features images of Panda, Polar Bear, Penguin, Llama, Grizzly, and Sloth. Pre-orders for the set run until May 13, with delivery expected between May 22-26.
The set of coffee blends and the tea set retail for 2,500 yen (about US$26) each.
The television anime adaptation of Aloha Higa's original gag comedy manga ended last week, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired.
