Three former NIS America staff members announced on Monday that they are forming a new Los Angeles-based game company called acttil. The company aims to publish, market, and localize video games for the PC, consoles, web, and mobile platforms.

The key members are former NISA producer Jack Niida, former NISA Vice President of Marketing Nao Miyazawa, and former Vice President of Production Hiroko Kanazashi. Miyazawa just left NIS America last month.

Miyazawa explained, "We are striving to make a company that will bring smiles to people around us and to our customers." The name of the company comes from acceptance, creativity, teamwork, trust, innovation, and love. ("And we made 'acttil' all lower-case to show our humility.")
