Game adaptation of comedy novel/anime pushed back to August 29

Japanese production company Kadokawa began streaming a two-minute promotional video for its upcoming Seitokai no Ichizon Lv. 2 Portable (Student Council's Discretion Level 2 Portable) video game for the PSP on Wednesday. The video informs viewers that the game has been delayed to August 29 from its original July 20 release.

The game is in visual novel format with full voicing of dialogue. The player assumes the role of Ken Sugisaki, and can choose whether to join or ignore a conversation with one of the girls at the student council table. Players can collect cards of different characters by making meetings go a certain way, and when certain cards are combined, "imagination events" can be activated. The cast for the game will remain the same as the second season of the anime.

The game's standard edition will cost 6,300 yen (about US$64), while the limited edition will come with a multi-purpose pouch for phones and portable game systems, a "harem strap set," and a voice CD for 8,400 yen (about US$85). First copies of the game will come with a product code for a custom theme.
