Atlus USA: Shin Megami Tensei IV, Dragon's Crown Still Coming Out

posted on by Rae First
Also still publishing 3rd-party titles like R.I.P.D: The Game, Daylight

After Index Corporation (the owner of the Atlus brand of games) filed for bankruptcy via civil rehabilitation in Japan, President and CEO of ATLUS, Naoto Hiraoka, responded to the concerns of fans interested in purchasing Shin Megami Tensei IV and Dragon's Crown:

Currently, Index Digital Media, Inc. and the ATLUS brand are unaffected by the Index Corporation proceedings in Japan. We're carrying on day-to-day activities, business as usual. Shin Megami Tensei IV and Dragon's Crown are still releasing on July 16 and August 6 respectively, and we're licensing and publishing third-party titles such as R.I.P.D: The Game and Daylight. We want to thank all of our fans for their outpouring of support.

Atlus also assured its Japanese fans that Dragon's Crown will still ship in Japan with online multi-player support and its shared save data feature. Sales of download content for Shin Megami Tensei IV, as well as the sales and the demo release of Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl (Shin Sekaija no Meikyū: Millennium no Shōjo) will continue in Japan.
