Conception II RPG's Opening, Teaser Showcase Anime Sequences

Baby-making RPG arrives in Japan for PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS on August 22

Game developer Spike-Chunsoft began streaming the opening movie for Conception II: Shichisei no Michibiki to Mazuru no Akumu on Thursday. The opening features the song "Spicate ~ 7-shoku no Tenkyūgi" by the singing duo Phantasmagoric.

Spike-Chunsoft is also streaming a two-minute teaser movie with animated cut scenes and gameplay footage:

The original Conception game debuted in Japan in 2011. The story revolves around high school student Itsuki, who is taken to a magical world called Granbania, which is being invaded by monsters. The only people who can fight and exorcise the monsters are the "star children," and the star children can only be produced by the 12 "shrine maidens of the constellations." In order to defeat the monsters and return to his own world, Itsuki must father the star children with the maiden. The star children are produced by pouring energy from Itsuki and one of the shrine maidens into a device, and the child's fighting class and statistics are determined by the parents.

Conception II: Shichisei no Michibiki to Mazuru no Akumu will be released in Japan for the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS on August 22 for 6,729 yen (about US$68).
