Pokémon X & Y's 3-Minute Promo Lays Out New Features

The Pokémon Company began streaming the third promotional video for the upcoming Pokémon X and Pokémon Y games on Thursday.
The video introduces how the players choose their character, assembles four companions, and embark on their adventures in the new Kalos region with never-before-seen Pokémon. The video then walks through some of the new features like horde encounters, sky battles, and the new Fairy type.
The "Pokeparure" feature gives the game more virtual-pet gameplay, in which you can pet your Pokémon with the touch stylus and feed your Pokémon. The Player Search System lets you find other players throughout the world for online battle.
Pokémon X & Pokémon Y will ship worldwide on October 12 on Nintendo 3DS. In Japan, you can buy either game pre-loaded on a SDHC card bundled with a limited-edition Nintendo 3DS XL in "Xerneas and Yveltal Blue" or (when bought at Pokémon Centers) "Premium Gold."
