1. Pretty Cure Love Kiss Rouge Lipstick
Premium Bandai is accepting pre-orders for "Love Kiss Rouge Lipstick," inspired by the weapon used by Cure Ace from Dokidoki! Precure. The weapon, of course, is also called Love Kiss Rouge, and has different powers based on the color. Red gives the user purifying powers, so now you, too, can purify to your heart's content.
The retail price is 1,780 yen (~ $18), with an expected ship date of December.
2. Natsume's Book of Friends Nyanko-sensei and Black Nyanko slippers
Shuffle around the house with Nyanko-sensei (and Black Nyanko) on your feet!
Made by TAKARA TOMY A.R.T.S., these slippers retail for 2,800 yen (~$28) and will be available this October.
Fans can also buy these Natsume's Book of Friends bottle cap figures, which are almost too cute for words.
For the Doraemon lover, who also really loves Halloween, Runa has made a set of Halloween-themed Variarts Doraemon figures. This lovable robo cat comes in... pumpkin and ghost.
Bonus, the ghost is glow-in-the-dark. The set of two retails for 3,600 yen ($36) and will be released in early October.
4. Sun-kissed Celia Figure from Walkure Romanze
Let's talk about this for a second. First DAIKI Kougyo released this bikini version of Celia from Walkure Romanze. And then they thought, "hey wait a minute, if she's going to be hanging out at the beach wearing a bikini and armor, she'll probably get tan!"
And so they released the sun-kissed, tan version of Celia, wearing the exact same outfit. Because that's just what happens when you spend time in the sun.
This new figure retails for 14,800 yen (~$148.88) and will be released in April 2014.
5. Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club goggle hair ties
This kind of reminds me of those hair ties that were prevalent in the early 90s, with the plastic balls on them, and no matter what your mom did, they would snag your hair and cause grief.
Only with these Free! hair ties, each one has a tiny pair of goggles on them so you can style your up-do in homage of your favorite swim club member. Presumably then when you hang out with your pals, one of them can squint, lean in, and ask, "Are those... are you wearing goggles in your hair?"
The product page also suggests wearing them as wrist bands, because obviously that's less weird.
Each hair tie/wristband/goggle-touting accessory can be bought for 735 yen (~$7.50) and will be released at the end of the month.
