Let These Older Gentlemen Woo You With This New Drama CD

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The third CD in Luv Records "Seifuku no Oji-sama After Happy End" (Uniformed Prince) drama CD series is heading to stores in January. The "Oji-sama" in the title is a pun, Oji-sama can mean "prince" but also translates as a formal term for older man or grandfather. All the male protagonists in the stories are much older than the female lead. The third CD follows 48-year-old Shotaro Hayama (voiced by Yasunori Matsumoto), a police officer.

The drama CDs are epilogues to Poppy Seed's mobile game for Android and iOS devices. The story follows third-year university student Sachi Aida. Sachi gets dizzy and comes down with a fever whenever she looks at an older man in uniform. Skeptical of her symptoms, her seminar professor Sugimoto says her grades are in danger. In order to graduate, Sachi must interview older men in uniforms and summarize them in a report. Will Sachi be able to safely guarantee her grades and graduate?

Characters include:

Shima Tachihara (Kazuya Ichijou), a 45-year-old bartender.

Shotaro Hayama (Yasunori Matsumoto), 48-year-old police officer

Yuichi Matsumoto (Keiji Fujiwara), a 53-year-old deputy hospital director at "Matsumoto Clinic"

Makoto Saeki (Tōru Ohkawa), a 56-year old designer for "Sekikawa Print" printing company

James Barnes (Juurouta Kosugi), a 49-year-old U.S. Army Lieutenant stationed in Japan. He uses a cane due to a wound in his left foot.

Satoshi Sugimoto (not voiced), the heroine's seminar instructor

Kei Kurasawa (not voiced), a third-year student and the heroine's cousin.

Drama CDs for Shima and Yuichi are already available. Makoto and James' drama CDs will be released in March and May.
