Together with the "Summer Space Camp in Sagamihara," makes up the Sagamihara "Space Festival."

With the new Space Brothers #0 movie coming out in August, plenty of people are caught up in anticipation of the new work. In order to celebrate the upcoming release, a special Space Brothers "Real Treasure Hunt Event" will be held. This game, to be held in Sagamihara, the location of one of JAXA's Field Centers, and birthplace of the Japanese spacecraft Hayabusa. The event, to be put on by Real Treasure Hunt group Takarush will be held starting July 19 and run until August 31.

In addition to this, JAXA will be putting on a "Summer Space Camp in Sagamihara," from July 24 to 25. Dedicated to teaching the public more about JAXA's space program, the camp will feature speeches from researchers and astronauts, including Naoko Yamazaki, the second Japanese woman to qualify to become an astronaut. Together, the space camp and treasure hunt will make up the Sagamihara "Space Festival," building hype not only for the Space Brothers #0 movie, but for the launch of the Hayabusa 2, which is schedule to occur this July.

It seems that Space Brothers has been the inspiration for a number of different events as of late, as Real Escape Game group SCRAP held their American version of the Space Brothers escape game. For more information on the Real Treasure Hunt to start next month, visit the official website.
