We've taken enjoyment in the past from alerting readers to increasingly niche polls, like favorite blonde-haired, twin-tail anime heroines, but this recent poll, conducted by Tokyo Otaku Mode, is much more straightforward. In it, they asked readers to pick their most anticipated Summer 2014 anime series.

Top 10 Overall Most Anticipated Summer 2014 Anime

  1. Sword Art Online II
  2. Free! Eternal Summer
  3. Psycho-Pass New Edit
  4. Black Butler: Book of Circus
  5. Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!
  6. Sailor Moon Crystal
  7. Re:␣Hamatora
  8. Blue Spring Ride
  9. Tokyo Ghoul
  10. Tokyo ESP

Separated by male and female fans, the results are a little different—although both had Sword Art Online II in the number one spot.
