Legendary Celebrates the Japanese Theatrical Release of Godzilla

Although Legendary's Godzilla came out in the US back in mid-May, it was finally released in Japan last Friday, marking the homecoming of the country's favorite lizard.

Legendary posted a video on YouTube today to mark the occasion, featuring commentary from film director Gareth Edwards, actor Ken Watanabe, voice talent from the Japanese dub, red carpet footage, and more. It also includes a few shots from Tokyo Midtown's MIDTOWN meets GODZILLA summer event, which showcases a 1/7 scale Godzilla replica and giant footprints.
