Newest Yotsuba&! Danbo Toy Features A Teddy Bear Pilot

posted on by Bamboo Dong

The fourth of Sentinel's Maschinen Danbo figures was recently revealed, and it's somehow even better than the previous three. Designed by artist, sculptor, and Maschinen Krieger (Ma.K ZBV3000) creator Kow Yokoyama, this mechanized Danbo comes not only with a host of tiny weapons, but also space-ready Yotsuba and Juralumin mini-figures—the latter of which serves as the pilot, and fits neatly inside Danbo's cockpit head.

Danbo measures roughly 105 mm (about 4.1 in) and comes with a pilot helmet, four thrusters, two hands, two weapons, and of course, Yotsuba and Juralumin. The set retails for 4,860 yen (about US$44.95) after tax, and is expected to ship in January 2015.

The other three mech Danbo figures in the series were sold over the summer at Wonder Festival 2014, and included Maschinen Danbo #001 SAFS, #002 Ma.K Box, and #003 Banana Box. All were designed by Yokoyama.
