Aikatsu Idols Team Up With Tokyo Metro Police to Fight Fraud

The Aikatsu! idols' latest promotional tie-in for their upcoming film isn't food this time. The group is teaming up with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department in a series of posters to prevent crime, specifically "Oreore Fraud," where criminals place false phone calls pretending to be in trouble.
The posters will go up around the Tokyo Metro police station on December 1 and A4-size copies of the poster will also be distributed.
The Aikatsu! film will open in Japan on December 13. The Tokyo police aren't new to idols. They previously utilized Vocaloid software to combat fraud.
