This Year's Spring Kōshien Baseball Tournament to Kick Off with "Let It Go"

posted on by Bamboo Dong

Every March, 32 of the best high school baseball teams in Japan are invited to play in the National High School Baseball Invitational Tournament, more commonly known as Spring Kōshien. Each year, the tournament's steering committee picks a song to be used for the opening ceremony's intro music.

This year, they picked "Let It Go," from Disney's Frozen, released in Japan as Anna and the Snow Queen. It will be arranged by Osaka composer Itaru Sakai.

In case you've somehow forgotten what the song sounds like, here it is in all its glory, as sung by Takako Matsu.
