Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Love Live Get Official Credit Cards

There's no reason anime fans should be putting their character goods purchases on a boring old credit card. Especially not if they can whip out a shiny piece of plastic with their favorite anime characters on it. Sumitomo Mitsui is launching an official Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Innocent VISA card, complete with a specially-tailored points program for fans interested in procuring some limited edition merch.
The card has a first year annual fee of 1,250 yen (about US$10), which is waived in subsequent years as long as it is used at least once the previous year. Additional perks include a 500 yen pre-paid card featuring Stern, Levi, and Dearche after the third month. Card members can also accrue points for special goods, including rubber mascot straps, voice clocks, and a hug pillow cover. Enrollment opens February 2.
Meanwhile, Love Live! fans who'd rather do their banking through Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS can sign up for a Love Live Mastercard, featuring artwork of all nine μ's girls. The card is part of NICOS' VIASO points program, which awards five points for every 1,000 yen (about US$8.44) purchase, with more awarded for shopping with specific merchants. New members will also receive a special sticker. Enrollment opened January 22.
