Famima Stores Celebrate Hatsune Miku Spring Goods Fair with Limited Edition Goods and Snacks

posted on by Bamboo Dong

Beginning March 10, Famima convenience stores across Japan will be launching their Hatsune Miku Spring Goods Fair, featuring special snacks and beverages, as well as limited edition goods.

The campaign will include a variety of Miku-packaged sweets, like "Mikkuriman," a play on Lotte's Bikkuriman chocolate and peanut wafers whose trademark characters even got their own manga and anime TV series. Instead of the typical sticker seals packaged with the snacks, Mikkuriman will have Vocaloid stickers illustrated by Yukino Tamago. This is actually the second time that Hatsune Miku and her pals have collaborated with Bikkuriman—the first was in August 2013.

Other tasty treats include Hatsune Miku glasses filled with yogurt gelatin desserts, in mandarin orange and pina colada flavors.

Hungry shoppers can reach for "Koumirai-chan" muscat-flavored candies, a collaboration between Hatsune Miku and Lotte's Koume hard candies.

Or melon cream soda frozen treats with vanilla ice cream centers featuring Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka from the "Senbonzakura" PV.

Those who need to wash down all the sugar can quench their thirst with Evian bottled water, complete with character charms.

Or a grapefruit and honey carbonated drink with vitamins and collagen featuring Kagamine Len from the "Ike Renka" PV.

Vocaloid fans who'd rather just get their hands on some special goods can purchase can badge mascot straps for 380 yen (about US$3.17) or metal charms for 350 yen (about US$2.93).
