Momoiro Clover Z & KISS Collaboration Immortalized on Japanese Postage Stamp

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

American rock group KISS and Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover Z joined forces earlier this year on a new track "Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina." The song got a full animated and live-action music video with art by Sushio (Kill la Kill) and got a huge digital launch in 120 countries. Japan is marking the event further with an honor usually reserved for historical figures and landmarks. The two bands are getting their own postage stamp.

KISS band member Gene Simmons tweeted an image of the postage stamp on Sunday.

The stamp is 100% official and will be issued by the Japan Postal Service. The JP Post haven't announced a release date yet.
