Digimon Fans Alter Atsuya Uki's tri Character Designs to Match Original Style

Plenty of fans were disappointed when Digimon Adventure tri. was delayed from its anticipated spring television release only to find out it's going to be a series of films. Other fans took issue with Atsuya Uki's character designs.
Uki's designs have a recognizable look that can be seen if you compare Digimon Adventure tri.'s promotional artwork to his other series, tsuritama. Fans of the franchise's veteran character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru weren't happy with the new style and even altered screenshots from the latest promotional video.
Others have edited the movie series' promotional artwork claiming the style is "f---ing disgusting."
