Gintama Remains ANN Reader's Top Series for Spring

Before this year's spring season premiered ANN readers and Japanese anime fans alike were pumped for the premiere of Gintama in April. Now that the spring season is in full swing, Japan's love for Gintama waned a bit for My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO! and Seraph of the End. ANN readers would have none of that.

Gintama was still the top choice but the series that really pulled ahead was Blood Blockade Battlefront, jumping from #15 to #2 in the poll. Digimon Adventure tri.'s spot was displaced after it was announced that it wasn't a spring series after all and enthusiasm for the feel-good romance My Love Story!! also caught on and jumped nine spots from #14 to #5.
