Miyavi Arranges Main Theme for Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation

For the upcoming fifth installment in the Mission: Impossible series, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, Japanese rock star MIYAVI recorded an electric guitar version of the series' iconic tune for the film's Japanese trailer. (The piece begins at about 0:40.)

Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation premieres in North America on July 31 and in Japan on August 7. MIYAVI, although primarily a singer and guitarist, attained international fame playing brutal Sergeant Mutsuhiro Watanabe in the American film Unbroken. Promoting Unbroken let him meet celebrities like Hayao Miyazaki and Ellen DeGeneres. MIYAVI has also toured in North America, performing in Los Angeles in 2014 and in 12 different cities in 2011.
