Q'ulle Idol Manako Dances to Terminator Remix Track

posted on by Carlos Cadorniga

Come with Manako if you want to dance.

From the Japanese rock dance girls' unit known as Q'ulle, member Manako recently posted a video of her dancing underground to a remixed version of the Terminator main theme, originally composed by Brad Fiedel.

Manako performed the dance as a collaborative promotion for the upcoming film Terminator: Genisys, being released on July 1 in the U.S. and July 10 in Japan. The video is a part of the "Terminator Motion Championship" video series of role model videos.

The dance was recorded on location within the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, located in Japan's Saitama prefecture.

Manako is perhaps best known for her dance to the first ending to the Yōkai Watch anime, "Yō-kai Exercise Number One", performed by J-pop group Dream5. Uploaded in August 2014, it now has over seven million views on YouTube, with fans commenting on how cute she was performing the dance. Her many dances can be seen on her YouTube channel.

Terminator: Genisys is the fifth installment of the U.S. sci-fi franchise. When a leader from a post-apocalyptic future sends a soldier back in time to protect his mother, he finds out that nothing in the past is as it should be and that the future is in more danger than ever. The film stars Arnold Schwarznegger of Terminator fame and Emilia Clarke from the popular HBO series, Game of Thrones.
