Solanin's Inio Asano Writes Song, Draws Illustration for Dempagumi Inc.

Girl band Dempagumi.inc. (Punch Line) and artist Inio Asano (Solanin, The Perfect Insider) teamed up for the band's new single "Ashita Chikyū ga Konagona ni Natte mo" (Even if the Earth Shatters Tomorrow). Asano both wrote the song's lyrics and drew the inside jacket illustration for the first press, limited edition CD, vinyl, and cassette. The single is set for release on September 16.

Asano previously collaborated with the Asian branch of sneaker company K-Swiss last year on its "White Fantasy" animated ad.

Dempagumi.inc. have worked on their own joint projects, including Hello Kitty and Pocket Muhi lotions.
