The Sailor Guardians and the girls of the Anglerfish Team are taking a break from fighting evil aliens and tank battles to settle in with a nice cup of tea.
The Panzer IV Ausf. D driven by the lead characters at Ōrai Girls' Academy is transformed into a teapot perfect for military aficionados. The Bandai Visual Club is selling the teapot with two traditional Japanese teacups for 11,111 yen (US$93). The set will ship in a special wooden box in November.
The Sailor Guardians are also inspiring their own tea set. The Noritake tableware company is creating a tea cup and matching saucer with motifs from the original Guardian team.
Four daisies in Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus' representative colors are painted on the inside of the cup while their bows adorn the outside saucer. Their planetary symbols, moons, and stars are also present. The inner circle of the saucer has a golden depiction of the Silver Millennium castle.
Both the tea cup and saucer are made of bone china and costs 7,776 yen (US$65).
One Piece's Straw Hat pirates also received tea time-themed goods for Ichiban Kuji's mid-August lottery.
