Hello Kitty Arms Herself in Sailor Suit and Machine Gun Collaboration

Of the many things Hello Kitty has dressed up as, from Love Live! idols to giant robots, none have seen Sanrio's popular mascot wielding a machine gun.
The design is part of Hello Kitty's collaboration with the live-action Sailor Suit and Machine Gun: Graduation film starring idol Kanna Hashimoto. Hello Kitty's version is a little more tame; the gun is pink and appears to have a cork stuck in the barrel.
The images will be used in a series of merchandise set to debut with the film on March 5. Hello Kitty will appear on pens, towels, notepads, and other similar goods.
The film stars Hashimoto as Izumi Hoshi, teenage head of the Medaka-gumi yakuza. Hoshi, despite her best efforts to lead a regular high school girl's life, gets pulled back into the violent yakuza lifestyle when one of her classmates mysteriously dies.
Hashimoto has experienced a surge of popularity as of late, with both men and women choosing her as the cutest idol. She has starred in a devilish lipstick commercial and an instant noodle commercial with some impressive stunts.
