Dragon's Dogma Online Arms Characters With Potato Chip Bag Shields

CAPCOM's Dragon's Dogma Online game is arming its fantasy-themed characters with a flavorful shield. Staff announced a collaboration with Calbee potato chips at Chiba Makuhari Messe at the Tōkaigi 2016 (Game Party Japan 2016) event last weekend. The announcement was made as part of overall updates for the game's 'Season 1.3.'
Players will be able to obtain two potato chip bag shields and matching rods starting on February 22. The campaign website will include details on how to get the items when it launches on February 8.
The same event also announced an upcoming collaboration with the Street Fighter franchise. Characters Akuma, Vega, Zangief, Blanka, and Cammy were all announced as part of the collaboration. Staff will announce more details on the official website in the future.
The next DDON TV broadcast is slated for February 27 with voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya and Tomoko Kaneda.
Calbee potato chips is a regular collaborator with voice actress Nana Mizuki. She previously led a tour through the chip factory, promoted a contest in which Calbee offered her likeness as a life-sized wall sticker, and helped create her own flavors.
