WATAMOTE's Tomoko Goes Out to the Ball Game to Support The Chiba Lotte Marines

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The Chiba Lotte Marines revealed the artwork and merchandise for its collaboration with WATAMOTE. An unlikely sports supporter, sleep-deprived and anti-social protagonist, Tomoko looks more enthusiastic in artwork created by manga artist Nico Tanigawa.

The collaboration will promote the games against the Saitama Seibu Lions on April 8, 9 and 10. Three seating areas are designated for fans, two include additional perks. The "Mokocchi Produce WATAMOTE Fan Party Ticket" will give one person access to the Field Terrace Suite on April 9, a spectator party room with free food and drinks. Exclusive goods will be provided, although the cheering flags are not for sale. A lottery will be held for collaboration goods, too. The ticket costs 10,300 yen (US$90).

Artist Nico Tanigawa will also be available that day to autograph WATAMOTE volume nine.

The "Kuroki-ka Ocha no Ma Kansen Group Ticket" (Kuroki Home Living Room Spectator) will let eight people into the Ozashiki Ballpark room on April 9 or 10 with food, original goods, and lottery tickets provided. The ticket costs 44,000 yen (US$386) for to reserve the room.

A separate cheering seat section and spectator section in the infield are allocated for all three games. Tickets range in price from 1,600 yen to 2,500 yen (US$14-22).
