The Japanese idol group Babymetal, the "hardcore" spin on Japanese idol culture, released a music video for their single "Karate" on Thursday. The song is featured on the group's upcoming album METAL RESISTANCE.
The group's American distributor RED announced last month that the group was confirmed to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert the week of the album's April 1 release. Since the announcement, the information was removed from RED's website for the album. There's no mention of group's appearance on the program on Babymetal's official English website, either.
More details on the group's upcoming world tour were announced. The trio is scheduled to perform at The SSE Arena Wembley in London on April 2. The tour will then head to the United States on May 4 with stops in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, and more. A European leg will start in June.
