Final Fantasy's Yoshitaka Amano Art Exhibit Features David Bowie Pieces

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Yatterman also featured among artwork

Artist Yoshitaka Amano, possibly best-known for his artwork and character designs for the Final Fantasy franchise, held his "Amano Yoshitaka: Shinka Suru Fantasy" (Yoshitaka Amano: The Evolving Fantasy) exhibit in Tokyo's Yurakucho district from January 29 to March 8. Aside from showing off his works for the video game series, he also showed off some of his work for Yatterman, as well as his own original pieces.

The end of the gallery even featured a special corner dedicated to musical legend David Bowie, who passed away in January. Amano was previously commissioned to create illustrations for Bowie's short story Return of the Thin White Duke.

Amano's "Candy Girl" artwork at the exhibit was turned into high-end goods for sale.
