Identity of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure's Theme Song Performer 'Coda' Revealed

Kazusou Oda credited under his real name for Diamond is Unbreakable

Since his debut performance of "Bloody Stream," the opening theme song for the Battle Tendency segment of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime, the singer Coda's identity has been a mystery. Now the secret has finally been revealed: his real name is Kazusou Oda.

"Coda" always kept his face obscured when he appeared at events such as Animelo Summer Live 2013 and 2015 and last June's commemorative event for the release of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure The anthology songs album. Even when he returned for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders Egypt Arc to perform the opening theme song as a member of the three-man group JO☆STARS, he still went only by his alias.

The big reveal coincides with this Wednesday's single release of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable opening theme song, "Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town" by the three-man group THE DU (Taisuke Wada, Jeity, Jun Shirota). Oda composed the song, is finally credited with his real name.

Oda will appear as Coda at live event on May 28 in Tokyo with his fellow members of JO☆STARS: Phantom Blood opening singer Hiroaki "Tommy" Tominaga and Stardust Crusaders opening singer Jin Hashimoto. THE DU will also appear at the event as special guests

Oda also performed the ninth ending theme song for Naruto.
