Char, Garma Star in Gundam Thunderbolt Theater Manners Ad

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Bandai Visual began streaming a theater manners ad for the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt: December Sky theatrical screenings. The video stars bird versions of Char and Garma where Char misbehaves by recording footage, yapping on his cell phone, and kicking the seat in front of him. In this version, the duo speak in a Kansai dialect.

Garma: Gosh, am I looking forward to the movie!
Char: Hey, Garma! It's super fun if you watch it with this!
Text: Photography/video-taking and audio recording is prohibited!
Char: Also, it's super fun to kick the seat in front of you while talking on the phone!
Text: Cell phones are prohibited! Don't kick the seat in front of you!
Garma: You just want me to do that so I'll say "You betrayed me, Char!" Geez, don't tease me just because I'm "a stupid kid..."
Char: Hey! That's my catchphrase you're talking about!
Garma: Sorry, sorry.
Narrator: Teaching you the proper manners to use in movie theaters.

The anime will get a director's cut edition that will screen for two weeks in 15 Japanese theaters starting on June 25. The regular Blu-ray Disc and DVD release will ship on July 29. All home video releases will have the director's cut version of the anime.
