Idolish 7 One-Year Anniversary Campaign Includes Full Album, Themed Cafes

August 20 will be the one-year anniversary of the release of IDOLiSH7, a rhythm mobile game focusing on male pop idols. To welcome the occasion and thank fans for their support, Bandai Namco Online is unrolling a campaign months in advance.

On August 24, IDOLiSH7 will finally get its first full album, i7. The album will contain 12 songs and come in three different editions: a standard edition for 3,000 yen (or $27); a limited first edition including a "photo book" with pictures "taken" by Kasumi Fukagawa for 3,500 yen (or $32); and a deluxe edition including the artbook and a concert equipment box (glowstick, scarf/towel, and badges) for 7,777 yen (or $71).

IDOLiSH7 fans will also get to enjoyIDOLiSH7-themed cafes this August. Animate Cafe will convert its branches in Ikebukuro (Tokyo), Tenjin (Fukuoka), Nagoya, and Sannomiya (Kobe) to offer IDOLiSH7-based menus and merchandise. The promotion starts on August 1 and ends on September 25 in Nagoya and Kobe and September 28 in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Reservations for entry will be accepted by lottery.

In the meantime, IDOLiSH7 fans can participate in the Ichiban Kuji lottery, which is offering merchandise based on IDOLiSH7 and their rivals, Trigger. The goods include cushions...

... and posters.

Ichiban Kuji costs 620 yen ($5.50) to enter and can be played at participating 7-Eleven, Tsutaya, and Animate shops, bookstores, hobby shops, and arcades.

IDOLiSH7's previous album releases, Good Night Awesome and Koi no Kakera, each contained a single song. Members Riku and Sogo have been turned into figures by Tamashii Nation.
