A complete CD collection of music from The Rose of Versailles anime series is scheduled for release on June 22. This three CD collection is priced at 4,980 yen (US$47) and will include many songs that were not previously available.

For this project, a search was conducted through tapes owned by Universal Music and TMS Music. The songs found as a result of this search included the original karaoke tracks of the theme song and background music, alternate takes of the theme song, and original background music that had never been compiled in CD form before. All in all, more than 70 previously unavailable songs were recovered and restored.

In addition, all of the songs from the anime previously released on the CD “Rose of Versailles Original Soundtrack: Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru” have been digitally remastered and will be included in the new music collection. Customers who order the limited edition of the CD collection, which is available through Universal Music Japan's website, will receive a special CD-sized card with a reproduction of the original record jacket art from of Hiroko Suzuki's “Bara wa Utsukushiku Chiru” release.
