Himouto! Umaruchan's Aimi Tanaka Becomes Latest Vocaloid

The latest Vocaloid 4 library expansion introduces the "sugar & spicy" character Otomachi Una voiced by Himouto! Umaruchan lead voice actress Aimi Tanaka. Tanaka is a relatively new voice actress. Umaru Doma marked her first major role and she has since appeared in this season's Active Raid Second television anime as Marimo Kaburagi.
The download version launched on July 30 followed by the package version's release on Thursday.
The Vocaloid music label VOCALOTRACKS is holding a contest to celebrate the expansion's release. The site is asking Vocaloid composers to create an original track using Otomachi Una for a chance for the song to be sold by the label with royalties. Winners will also receive a copy of the ABILITY 2.0 Pro download version software.
The band SEKAI NO OWARI was transformed into a Vocaloid earlier this year. Enka singer Sachiko Kobayashi also got her own Vocaloid library expansion.
