Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress Promotes Blood Drive Campaign

The characters of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress are helping promote an upcoming blood drive at this weekend's "Kōtetsu-jō no Utage" (Iron Fortress' Banquet) event at Zepp Tokyo. So long as participants aren't infected Kabane, they can donate at the Red Cross station at the event and receive a B2-size poster. Participants do not have to have tickets to the actual event to participate in the blood drive.
The event will also have exclusive goods ranging from t-shirts and clear files to limited edition artwork.
The "steampunk survival action" anime's story takes place on the island country Hinomoto, where humans hide themselves in fortresses called stations against the threat of zombie-like beings with steel hearts known as "Kabane." Only armored locomotives known as "Hayajiro" go between the stations.
The anime is getting a sequel via a mobile game set to debut this winter.
Anime have occasionally been enlisted to collect blood, among them Please Tell Me! Galko-chan, Girls und Panzer and Yowamushi Pedal.
