Good Smile Company opened preorders for Max Factory's PLAMAX JG-02: Gipsy Danger figure kits on Wednesday. The 1/350-scale figure recreates Gipsy Danger, a Mark-3 American Jaeger that Raleigh Becket and Mako Mori pilot in the Pacific Rim film.

The kit comes ready to assemble, and it includes decals and an LED light for the turbine on the Jaeger's chest. The figure stands about 230 millimeters (9.06 inches) tall.

Max Factory created the kit with 3DCG data from the film, including the inner frame of the armor. The set is separated by color and uses snap-kit parts for ease of assembly. The kit also includes the Plasma Cannon and Chain Sword.

The figure costs 8,148 yen (about US$81), and it is slated to ship this December. The preorder period is open until October 20.

Steven S. DeKnight, showrunner and director on Netflix's Daredevil series, will direct Pacific Rim 2. Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Mary Parent, and del Toro are credited as producers, and Jillian Share is credited as executive producer for the film. Jon Spaihts wrote the current script attached to the film, and Jurassic World writer Derek Connolly is also on the production team for the film. Universal Pictures will release the film in 3D worldwide. The film stars John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Finn), singer Cailee Spaeny (Counting to 1,000) , Scott Eastwood, and Jing Tian (The Great Wall, Police Story: Lockdown, Kong: Skull Island).
