Voice Actress Yuko Gibu Announces Pregnancy

Voice Actress Yuko Gibu, known for her roles as Maon Sakurada in the Tamayura series and Akira Okudaira in Aoi Hana, announced her pregnancy via her personal blog on October 26.

My apologies for writing about myself, but after infertility treatment I've now become five months pregnant... Day by day my body gets fatter, and when I use the bathroom I don't feel completely refreshed. Thinking "Ah, once again today I couldn't use it easily. This proves there's something in my belly!" clenches the feeling that I've become a mother.

To the fans she added,

Hey, you! You think you just popped out by yourselves?! It's a long time till implantation, and a much longer time after that!! I want to become a female voice actor who tells such a story (Kenji Miyazawa style)... I will steadily leak the privacy of the kid in my belly without regret.

The 35-year-old voice actress previously announced her marriage on Nico Nico TV in March 2014. She's also performed voice roles for Accel World, Love, Election, and Chōcolate, Pumpkin Scissors, Umi Monogatari and many others.
