Haikyu!! Characters Hunt Eggs at Easter-Themed J-World Event

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Japan has traditionally ignored Easter, but recent years have seen more amusement park decorations and themed chocolates inspired by the bunny- and egg-filled holiday. Namco's J-World Tokyo indoor theme park will hold a Haikyu!!-themed event this spring to celebrate Easter, which falls on April 16 this year.

The "Haikyu!! Karasuno Easter in J-World" event will be held from March 11 to May 7. During the event period, the park will offer exclusive Haikyu!! merchandise with special egg-motif illustrations. The event will also feature new mini game prizes, an egg hunt rally game, and a limited food and dessert menu.

Another Haikyu!! event will celebrate the character Ryūnosuke Tanaka at J-World before the Easter event launches. J-World's Haikyu!! area will run the "Tanaka Festival" from March 1 to March 5. The celebration will include limited-edition Tanaka prizes for a mini attraction, a free Tanaka scream mini game, and a special food menu.

Additionally, the "Gintama Kako-hen in J-World Tokyo Satellite Shōka Sonjuku Rōshigumi-hen" event will run at the OPA department store in Fujisawa, Kanagawa from March 4 to May 7, and in the Namco store near Nagoya Station from May 13 to July 9. The event is a tour of a popular event that ran in J-World Tokyo from November 5 to January 29. During the event period, the stores will offer a Shōka Sonjuku mini game and limited-edition goods. A special J-World Tokyo passport and goods set with a special event illustration will also go on sale.

J-World Tokyo held a Gintama gorilla-themed Halloween event from October 1 to November 3.
