Shoot Hoops With 3D Kuroko's Basketball Characters at J-World Tokyo

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Namco's J-World Tokyo indoor theme park will debut the Kuroko's Basketball Special Room ~Kuroko, Kagami-hen~ 3D attraction on March 12. The five-minute attraction will run at the theme park until May 31.

Visitors will wear 3D glasses to interact with Kuroko and Kagami in a gym. In the attraction's story, visitors see the Seirin High basketball club preparing for the Winter Cup and try to join the team. People will be able to catch, pass, and shoot a virtual basketball in the attraction.

A ticket set with admission to J-World Tokyo, admission to the Kuroko's Basketball attraction, and an original clear file costs 3,300 yen (about US$29) for adults and 3,100 (US$27) for children. Visitors must select specific times to participate in the attraction.

People who spend at least 1,500 yen (US$13) on Kuroko's Basketball merchandise at J-World Tokyo until April 6 are also eligible to experience the attraction for free on April 21 to April 23. A special campaign will chose a total of 100 people by lottery to visit the attraction for free. In addition, certain fans that applied in February will get to experience the attraction in advance on March 10 and March 11.

J-World Tokyo held a Kuroko's Basketball-themed Halloween event in 2014.
