Pay Your Respects to Dearly Departed Re:CREATORS Character (SPOILERS)

The first floor gallery space of the Akiba CO Building in Akihabara held an elaborate memorial after the fate of one Re:CREATORS character ended in tragedy.
A "farewell party" was held on June 10 for Mamika Kirameki, also known as the magical girl Magical Slayer Mamika. The event included a huge floral display and an altar where visitors could leave their own memorial blooms. Staff handed out postcards featuring the character based on curry packaging she eats in the show. Her costume was also on display with screenshots from the anime, and her magical weapon.
The event also worked as a make-shift merchandise display with hugging pillow art of Mamika, a backpack based on the Military Princess, a prototype Nendoroid of Meteora, and a new crane game campaign.
