Ganma!, Young Magazine the 3rd Hold Manga 'Serialization Cup' Contest

Comic Smart's free manga website Ganma! and Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd are holding a manga "serialization cup" contest. The winner will be able to have their submitted work serialized in one of the platforms and also receive 300,000 yen (about US$2,700).
Participants must choose two of seven themes and create their work based on those themes. The possible themes are "pure love," "revenge," "strongest," "misunderstanding," "tranquility," "transformation," and "big money."
People can submit work in any genre, but submissions must be original work not previously published in another magazine or on another website. Manga, illustrations, storyboards, text works, and dōjinshi are all acceptable submissions. There are no age, sex, or experience restrictions for applicants.
The contest is accepting submissions from August 4 to October 10. The Ganma! and Young Magazine the 3rd editorial departments are judging the contest, and they will announce the results on December 6.
